 Oshkosh is rich in arts, entertainment and cultural experiences. Exhibits and events feature local creative masterpieces and displays of world-renowned talent ranging from musicians and painters to sail boat racing and aviation adventures. With ten theaters, 4 museums and galleries, a new outdoor ampitheater, 2 libraries, the Gallery Art Walk and Farmers' Market, and numerous exhibits, events and festivals there are endless possiblities for your enjoyment.
There is something for the traditional art enthusiast and for those who are looking for the unique, one-of-a-kind cultural experience. The Paine Art Center and Gardens is known around the nation for its rich garden galleries of horticulture and magnificent historical architecture. The museum has preserved the mansion and interiors from its original creators along with exhibiting changing art collections. The Grand Opera House is one of our most treasured buildings - built in 1883, it is older than the Eiffel Tower. Seating over 600 people, there are shows for the young in years as well as the young at heart. The Leach Ampitheater features musicians in an outdoor complex including Waterfest which is held every Thursday night through the summer.

Oshkosh's events and activities are filled with creative talent and exciting entertainment. One jaunt around Oskosh during our montlhy Gallery Art Walk and you can find an array of talented photographers, painters and potters, not to mention custom designed jewelry, hand-crafted rugs and unique pottery. Our Farmers' Market is open several times a week from May through October. The local vendors offer fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, baked and canned goods, beautiful flowers and hand-made crafts. Live at Lunch is another highlight of Oshkosh in the summer. Located in Opera House Square, local restaurants cater and live bands entertain while people enjoy their lunch and the children frollic to the music.
